Rudolf

Rudolf Schwartzwasser
Maestro Rudolf Schwartzwasser (1922-2001). The world's greatest (and only) silent-piano* player. His performances are reported to be breath-taking and mesmerising, leaving the audience speechless. Another famous Schwartzwasser was his father, Zigmund, who was a virtuous stringless-guitar player and the founding father of the silent musical instruments movement in modern music. He was very much influenced by the super-extreme-minimalism movement that swept the Nicaraguan art scene at the time.

* Silent-piano - a special piano without all the strings and sound-producing parts usually found inside a normal piano.
